Guest guest
My hair was all one length down to the shoulders when it started coming out and I left it all one length and I cut it myself up to just below the jaw line and wore hats so that the hair was hanging a couple inches out of the hat. Yes, don't cut it short on top as this helps to hide the thinning. I didn't cut mine really short until I was at the point of feeling my hair was just no longer acceptable to me even with a hat. My hair had always been long and very thick so it was very hard to take but at some point I just got fed up with hair everywhere following me around the house. Someone told me that I would just have to somehow " find the fun in this " . I took that to heart and have tried to make the best of a bad situation. You might try that for the hair. Just got it today, so we'll see it if works. A few years ago, when my hair was falling out (nothing like now though) I tested low iron and added iron supplement. It stopped the hair from falling out. We'll see what the tests show. > > Lyme is not just lyme, there are usually also the co infections that go with it. I have done parasite cleanses and antibacterial supplements for yeast/parasites. I tend to do a lot better if I stay on both of those. I began losing my hair in March and it has been steadily falling out since that time. I have lost more than half of my hair. No supplements have affected this so far. Going back on the hormones I listed above also has done nothing. I am due for some more hormone testing in October to see if my thyroid is still low and possible to add estrogen. > > > > > > > > As I began to investigate more into an odd thing that keeps happening to me during the fall, winter and early spring season I was prompted to consider Lyme. > > > > > > > > Once fall hits, I begin having low grade fevers. I will have a headache and nausea at the same time. This lasts a day to a few days and is usually rid of by taking immune boosting supplements. (A, C, astragalus, echinacea). It will go away and reappear later on rather randomly. This does not happen in the summer at all. I've only noticed this the last few years. This year I was hit right around the equinox, and I was sick one day the week before and three days that week. I finally stopped the symptoms by taking iodine and olive leaf extract. Perhaps not the correct thing to do but I have children to care for and being sick longer than 3 days isn't something I've got time for. > > > > > > > > The only other thing I have to go on is my mom says I had an odd circular rash when I was about 10. She said my doctor did not know what it was, said maybe it was an allergy. She had four of us kids and said she'd never seen a rash like that before. she said my sister had one a few years later. I showed her pictures of a Lyme bulls-eye rash and she says she's pretty sure its the rash I had. Of course it is possible she is mistaken. She does not remember some things from my childhood and I don't remember the rash. > > > > > > > > So I am now investigating how to diagnose/treat Lyme should I have it. I do not have most of the symptoms I see listed for Lyme. But in light of some kind of odd viral or bacterial issue with my body, and the report of a rash.....its worth me investigating it. Somethings are definitely interfering with my progress in recovery now. > > > > > > > > I have a Hulda zapper so I am somewhat familiar with that method of addressing germs. > > > > > > > > I hope to learn! > > > > > > > > Jan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > = >
Guest guest
It's funny you say that because I had dark brown hair and when I went to wigs I started with a blond one with dark roots to match my brows and lashes and it looked pretty good. I actually think blondes do have more fun. I got a lot of horn honking that I hadn't had in years when I would go out driving. What a crazy world. I was worried about even going outside at all with a wig on and I was receiving more attention than ever for looking hot. My husband made me go back to brown with highlights. I have a red, 3 browns with highlights, 2 blondes, and a few other strange colors. It can be interesting.
