Guest guest
I am new to this site. I have had Still's for 5 years. It is managed with Kineret. I currently am only faced with fatigue and minor pains. After reading many of the stories, I realize how lucky I am. The Kinert allows me to function extremely well. I am wondering if this will change. Does this illness spike after it hids for years. I would love to hear from anyone that has experienced . To all of you in pain........I hope it gets better for you soon. > > > From: trday@... > Subject: work/disability > To: Stillsdisease > Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2009, 8:28 AM > > > > Hey all: > > As you know I am pretty new to the site and the dragon and just wondered how many of us are still working versus on disability. > > This Message has been MODERATED. Guest guest
Hi Gail, I am right there with you. I am thankful that we have finally manged to get my Still's somewhat managed. I'm not in remission because I still have all of the Symptoms, there just 1/2 of what they use to be. Now through careful planning I can do normal things again, like hang out with my friends, Go to church, Maybe try Dating again. Some of you know that I have done a few presentations. Well this fall I have started Marketing my Services as an Inspirational, Motivational, and Educational Public Speaker/Guest Teacher. As Long as I schedule so I am able to get enough rest I am able to presentations and speaking engagements. I hope at one point I will be able to earn some money at it to supplement my Social Security. I do about 2 occasionally 3 Presentations a month. This allows me to do what I love at the pace my Body allows. IF you want more details e-mail me and I will be happy to share.
