Hi Steve,it's funny, but my husband and I were just talking about that subject

yesterday.Of course we can attribute going to bed very early by the fact that we

are old!We are both in our 60's and when our kids were teens,he went to bed

after the news at 11p.m. and I went to bed after all my chores and prep for that

day and the next were done! When my kids were young, like 5,6, & 7 and I could

actually vacuum and change their beds while they slept in the early mornings.I

was such a type A personality, they could have put my name next to type A in the

dictionary!

The day I had my first full flare (sore throat which was horrible, rash

everywhere that hurt, fever 104*,aching joints, that were swollen etc.)I had been

painting a full bath and a bedroom and putting up wall paper trim.I suddenly

felt really tire and my throat hurt,so I decided to take an aspirin and lay down

for a nap!I woke very sick and went to the ER and stayed there for 17 days!I

guess I tell you this to show how much I did on a daily basis!

Since then I have gone to bed earlier and earlier!I have found that the only

thing that helps when I have any symptoms is to either lay down and read, watch

T.V. or sleep. We sometimes go to bed by 5p.m.,but no matter what time it is when

we fall asleep,we are never up later than 6a.m. and usually earlier.By the time

I go to bed, I can barely walk and if he's here,my husband helps get me into my

pajama's.As a result we rarely even look at the clock,if we are tired we go to

bed.

Hope this helps some,I realize everyone is different and their bodies react

differently, but until Stills,I was always up much later.

Elly
