Guest guest
If you find anything out about scholarships let me know....I have been trying to find something for Tyler....You'd think there would be something out there for a kid with so many health problems....especially since he wants to be a GI doc....pediactrics...he could certainly use the help.... Guest guest
-- All I know is that I met with a college advisor last year for Chad and posed a similar question--told them our savings was pretty much earmarked for my transplant, that I would be off work for awhile as would Steve when he was with me in Omaha. I was told that until I actually had the transplant and was actually on leave w/o pay, it wouldn't help. Maybe she was wrong, but that's what I was told. It all pretty much boils down to how much the parents make--doesn't matter about their health -- now if Keegan had a medical problem, that would be different. Keep looking, though--don't take my word for it. Just wanted to pass along what I was told. I have not been on here very often lately....kind of have my hands full....and have to delete some of the mail because it gets too out of hand....I just read about the cancer....I won't bother you with questions which I am sure you have already been asked.....but I do want you to know that my thoughts are with you and I pray that your doctors will do the right thing for you.....
