Hi everyone,Request to all.........Please clarify when making the comment, "all of my labs were normal." Does this mean truly 'normal' or just within range? Does this mean a regular, western, allopathic, 8-minute per appointment, idiot doctor told you you were fine? Or a doctor who understands lab scores are only ranges, ranges can be corrupted, and that even under this circumstance you are still truly 'normal' and this is not an area for concern. This is most critical when it comes to interpreting hormones, steroids, vitamin/minerals. (Of course, it's very important with Lyme, but I think you all get this.)You see, we've all been told for many years (even decades), and by a plethora of doctors that our labs were 'normal'. It makes it difficult to respond to someone's post, when they say 'my labs are normal'. It is helpful if you post results with ranges. It's also helpful if you state what type of doc interpreted the results. There may still be some of you who don't know that lab results are read differently by different doctors (no matter the range). It just so happened that during my journey, I learned this long before finally being diagnosed with Lyme."Normal" isn't necessarily "normal"Sorry, for the plea, it just really saves time and precious energy. I don't want to come across as hampering questioning or comments - please hear my friendly tone. Never be afraid to ask. :-)
