Guest guest
Ledum is generally indicated for a recent tick bite, no matter whether you're a dog or a human. This is the acute use of the homeopathic remedy Ledum. If left untreated and the tick born illness has becomes entrenched and chronic, treatment is no longer a simple acute, but a complex combination of constitutional and possibly inter-current remedies (homeopathically speaking). Did the dog(s) get the Ledum at the time of or shortly after the tick bite? If so, this would explain why treatment with Ledum was successful.Ledum is reputed to have worked in old cases (dog and human) but this is not the rule. Lydia My friend is looking at Ledum for her dog with lyme. I really know nothing about it but it seems that it is more effective for animals with lyme than humans which makes me really sceptical. I don't really understand why the dogs have better results. (maybe because they can't and always wag their tales when they see us) Anyway if anyone has any experience with Ledum please let me know. Thanks, Tamara
