OT: importing supplements to Germany

I have a friend who wants to get supplements to treat his cancer alternatively

in Germany. I'm told that is is illegal to import supplements into Germany! Is

this actually true?

Can supplements be mailed to a neighboring country and driven to the person in

Germany?

Or how to help him get stuff locally? If I google " google Germany " , I believe I

see what Germans see when they use google. Then if I use google shopping from

there, does anyone know if those are products that are sold inside Germany?

Sorry its so off topic. But Lymies really are the jacks of all trades in a lot
