Hi ,

Thank you for your support. LOL I don't want to think about these bugs

running all around in my insides - makes me think the worms are there

already :) :) But, I know what you mean. There is a war going on inside

and wherever there is war there has to be pain and suffering.

However, you made a remark " God don't give you nothing you can't handle "

What a lovely phrase! I think we should all accept these words as our

motto and the next time I flare, I shall remember them. I repeated them to

one of my students today (elderly lady) and she varied it a little - " God

gives you the courage and the strength to overcome it! "

My mistake was in leaving the flare too late to treat. I was in severe

pain for most of the day before going home to take my meds...foolish, 'cos

by that time my brain was befuddled (not that I'm not like this most of the

time:) and the pain had taken a strong hold.

Over here, the strongest painkiller they will give you is Panadeine Forte,

after that, once they know the pain is there all the time they put you on

morphine tabs. Even the hospital would have only given me a couple of

panadeine - not the heavy ones, just the ones you take for a headache!!! I

see my doc next monday and we will sure be having a little talk about

coping with flares. Ha ha, I love him - he actually said to me that he

believes that most auto immune diseases are caused by bugs that get into

your system - nearly floored me with that one! He is one doc here that

isn't afraid to try things.

Take care and thanks again for your support.

Love and hugs,

Jude.
