I'm partial to brown too. It is the lower pitch which is More visceral and calming. Is there some low pitchSound device ,out of human hearing range ,that might Be a form of relaxation? I like the thought of that. I used to have a deaf cat that ran to the piano and layed On it whenever anyone would play it. She loved the calmingEffect. Sent from my iPhone

I was listening to the different noises (pink, brown, etc.) and found brown noise to be comforting. The low pitch feels good. Does anyone else experience that?

Yes! I like when the keys are in the same low sound vibration (not sure if I am making sense); but, It is soothing. I think that's why rain at times can be soothing. if it's a heavy rain, it must be at a low pitch.

I didn't know any thing like that existed. I am excited about this! I am going to tell my son. When he is studying this will be so helpful. Thank you!

I prefer brown noise. I like to use simplynoise.com and oscillate the sound. To me it sounds like waves and is very calming.

Thank you for the suggestion. The brown noise is very soothing and helps to mask problem sounds! I had never heard of brown noise before.
