Guest guest
I have finally got my appointment with my new NHS rhumy on the 10/11/09 which is fantastic but if they are as bad as before i need to look into other options, i can not go on like this, it's not fair on my family, my dad has been talking to his doctors nurse and she said that maybe i should go private and sack off the NHS. Is there any type of specialist that deals with just Stills? What type of specialists should i be looking to go and get ref to? I have had a rhumy before but as my previous posts he was about as much use as a chocolate fire guard. I have the usual symptoms, exhausted all the time sleeping for England and half of the USA(big country),nice rash that comes and goes, flux in very high temp and the extremely painful swollen joints. I want to go with ammunition so to speak i am brassed off with being fobbed off because the doctors i see do not know enough about this condition, i think i've been patient enough in the past 13 years, now i have the back up of you guys i feel i can take on the world as crappy as i feel at the moment. Kate you get well soon chick, thinking off you will catch you on FB x, Marty i would like to say your email was very humbling and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, your mum sounds like my Gran a fantastic lady. Liz you make me chuckle please keep it up, i love googling you've got me hooked. Ellie hope the leg is ok and it's not started to itch yet knitting needle may come in usefull x Any one i have missed sorry and hope you are all having a better day that yesterday and tomorrow is better than todayxxxxxxxx Rach (UK)
Guest guest
Good Evening , How strange you are starting the day as we are just ending it, I'm just watching the end of the England footabll game. Beckham has got Man of the match. Thank you for your help on this matter i just feel like sometimes i'm banging my head against a brick wall. We have a large teaching Hospital in Leeds so when i am back at my doctors on Monday I may ask if i can go there, i had never thought of that, the diary and photo's are a cracking idea. Thanks again have a nice day hope it's sunny. Rachxx > > > Morning, ... Guest guest
Hi Alli Wow you know your stuff, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!! My specialist in London was fantastic and explained everything to me, but since being back in yorkshire it has gone down hill. also said to get a diary or book to write things down in, it's little tips like this that i never even thought of, once you get into the Dr's office it's a case of discribe what is wrong, here's your steroids and pain killers thank you very much see you in a bit. I forget the questions and don't take in everything that the Dr is saying because i'm feeling sooooooo rough. I will send one of my frinds out tomorrow to get me a book so i can start putting down drug names ect... I do keep being sent for bone scans but i think that is due to the amount of steroids that i have taken or that i am still taking i'm down to 35mg a day now so 5mg reduction per week. My white cells are still quite high but hey that's normal for us isn't it? What is Kineret and Methotrexate for? sorry i sound so dumb some of the names are different over here, but i don't think i've ever had anything other than steroids, painkillers, anti inflams and the stuff that stops your stomach being damaged. Thank you again for all your support. Hope you have a pain free day, It's night time here so i'm off to the land of nod and pray for a better day tomorrow. Take care Rach xx > > , > Rheumy's are the only specialist for Stills because it is an auto-immune > disease.
