I am a Female with Autism the Aspergers Kind I live in Charlotte, North Carolina

I am IN NEED OF HELP because as of October 1, 2011 medicaid will not pay for eye

exams and eye glasses anymore like this article says

TO GET MY EYES CHECKED ANYMORE AND GET NEW GLASSES ANYMORE AND I CANNOT AFFORD

PAYING EYE EXAMS OUT OF POCKET AND PAYING EYE GLASSES OUT OF POCKET . I RELY ON

MEDICAID. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? I NEED HELP - I FEEL MY RIGHT FOR HAVING MY

EYES CHECKED AND TO GET GLASSES IS VIOLATED WHAT CAN I DO?I will also let you

know in Contacting places like Lions Club, and Lens Crafters no one will help a

This is not a violation of your rights; this is cut back in health care

services. It's a shame, but it was adopted by the legislature of your state.

Look in the front of your telephone book and see if you can find any agencies

that might be able to pay for you to have an eye exam.

There is no one on this list or the internet that can make a difference, only

you can make a difference by calling people locally to help you, or by find a

job to pay for an eye exam.

What about your family? Maybe one of you relatives could afford to pay for you

to have an eye exam.
