Alcohol

I need to buy some good/decent alcohol for one formulation. I'm going

to be using most of it for testing purposes, not for the finished

product.

SD alcohol, formulators alcohol, everclear, vodka - whatever is the

cheapest for testing.

any ideas? I'm the US and have read a little about the regulations and

shipping. I've also heard personally, complaints from allergies people

have from " cheap " perfume alcohols so eventually, if I need to use

something better I will.

I'm trying to make salicylic acid soluable. So far only alcohol has

worked. Tried Glycerin, Butalyne Glycol, Propylene glycol, isopropyl

myristate. I get the best solving with Propylene glycol mixed with

less alcohol, but the alcohol I'm using is the cheap stuff from the

drug store.
