Actually, it is the caffeine that stimulates the liver to open up the bile ducts

and dump the toxins. I would suggest you start with a very diluted amount of

coffee. You may find that you tolerate the enema okay as it seems that the

caffeine doesn't have the same effect via the enema as it does drinking it. If

you feel funky afterward or have a racing heart, it could actually be the

release of toxins that are making you feel that way. If this happens try taking

some Chlorella, charcoal and Clay a half hour before the enema as this will help

mop up the toxins that are being dumped. I would start with a small amount of

coffee diluted heavily with filtered water and gradually increase until you

reach the level that makes you feel agitated and then back down. I have done up

to three coffee enemas in a day when I was having a massive herx. Usually one a

day is good. I like first thing in the morning because they give me a little

boost.

system via the enema and, if so, will decaf work just as well?

than I'm already doing--the bentonite, chlorella, zeolite, Burbur, Pinella, and

sweating are obviously not getting the job done. Thanks.

Peggy, You need to use caffeinated coffee for the coffee enema to work. I am allergic to caffeine and had some very bad coffee enema experiences until I got the procedure down. It must be done in low volumes so the coffee does not get pushed past the sigmoid colon into the intestine where the caffeine will be absorbed into the blood stream. Sometimes I use only 3/4 C of coffee at a time. After I've simmered 2 Tbsp of organic caffeinated coffee in 4 C of distilled water, I usually have 3 or less cups left. Basically, I do the enema 3 times, one after the other, splitting the prepared coffee three ways equally. Do be sure to strain the coffee well. There is a very fine sludge in the bottom of the vessel that can go through any strainer. I decant off of that and do not allow it into my enema

procedure. As I mentioned in the previous email, don't let the coffee enter the sigmoid colon with too much force, or it will be pushed too far up where you don't want the caffeine to go. Start slow, go slow, and allow plenty of time for the procedure. It is the best thing I've found. If extremely toxic, start out once or twice per day with the enema. As you get to feeling better, space it out more. I usually do mine very weekend. I am working so it is hard to squeeze it in during the week, but I do if I feel the need.I've got my fingers crossed for you. Subject: question about coffee enemasTo:

Thanks, . I appreciate the info from you and all who responded. Coffee enemas have not been under consideration till today. I went through a lot of detox some years back in which I had to do quite a few enemas of olive oil and various herbal things. I did them but I couldn't stand doing them and hoped never to have to go through that again. But everyone here seems to do it so easily and just as part of a routine, so maybe I can find my way toward that.
