Guest guest
hiya jimah butter, yum.the problem is i eat tons of good stuff, organic everything liver butter eggs, cod liver oil, kefir from raw milk, and gobs of great veggies, winter squash, yams, carrots beets, lots of the good vit a ones. i am hypothyroid so have to find a way around it with the right supp. and have to look further into the genetics stuff (not supposed to eat high sulfur stuff, like spinach and broc and garlic, and dairy and eggs and meat), detox probs, lack of enzymes, blocking absorption, gut health. more studying....xosusie Hi Susie, You be sure to eat your butter, eggs and spinach.... All of these are naturally loaded with Vit A... It is folks who are hypothyroid or diabetic who are unable to convert beta-carotene into Vit A... I guess since I am hypothyroid, all the butter and eggs I eat are very healthy for me... :-) AND, this is another good reason NOBODY should ever use margarine... It does not have the health benefits of butter and I know many have been sold on the idea that margarine is the healthier choice, that is bad info... Butter is all natural and very healthy for us and loaded with Vit A, margarine is NOT good for us, no natural Vit A. Butter made from grass fed cows is best. http://ask.yahoo.com/20001011.html http://www.westonaprice.org/Vitamin-A-Saga.html http://www.bodyecology.com/07/07/05/benefits_of_real_butter.php If you crave protein, use Whey Protein powder, comes in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry... Dr. Mercola believes in starting the day with a Whey Protein shake, made from hormone free grass fed cows... Start with a little milk or water, add the Whey Protein powder as suggested on the package and a banana... Blender and drink! Yummy!! Same goes for whey protein powder, made from grass fed cows is best and necessary... Lowest prices on grass fed Whey Protein I know of: http://www.swansonvitamins.com/Search?keyword=whey+protein+grass+fed+cows & doSearch=true & ntt=whey%2Bprotein%2Bgrass%2Bfed & n=0 & ntk=Level1 & x=0 & y=0sussie Susie, this is an excellent way to get a lot of protein... I find taking it in the morning gives me a good boost, I also add a hand full of fresh blueberries and a handful of strawberries and 2 Tbls of raw unfiltered, unheated honey, what a way to start the day! If it take this late at night, it puts me to sleep... Take care, Jim > > > > > > Well, got my results back from the nerve conduction tests and MRI. > > Neuro doc says it's not MS. (Well, duh.)
