Guest guest
Robin, You might want to hold down the kit for a few more days before collecting urine sample. DK has updated instructions in details for how to collect the urine sample for KPU test. He presented at the conference this morning. He had updated his slides which are different from what were printed in the conference proceeding book. The updated version will be provided to Tami for posting. Guest guest
From my incomplete notes. Dr K went over this today. Yes, refridgerate. Cover the container in aluminum foil also. You want a 24 hr collection or several random collections over a few days. It also needs to be frozen at some point. Anyone-- before or after you fill the tube to send to lab? He also said a stressful day was better than a quiet day for getting a good reading and that late afternoon tended to have the highest levels of KPU in the urine. I'm very interested in running this test on my boys! Jill > > I have the test here. Am unclear.. do you refrigerate the urine? Guest guest
Hi Girls! I was walking away from the presentation this morning thinking that if we were going to save the samples over several days ....that they should each be immediately frozen and then collectively thawed and mixed and sent in provided tube Monday through Wed. In fact I was thinking ice cube tray? ) Okay so no ones coming to my house for lemonaid tee hee... Big hug to all, Robin,You might want to hold down the kit for a few more days before collecting urine sample. DK has updated instructions in details for how to collect the urine sample for KPU test. Guest guest
Oh my. thank you ladies! What timing. I've been off all supplements for 9 days. All I need is a stressful event it seems and the updated directions. :-) Thank you so much. Thank you Tami. Guest guest
I believe what he said was to collect urine for 9 days (that could be wrong..not looking at my notes right now) and putting it in a milk or juice carton then place in the freezer - when you are finish with all the collection you are to thaw then shake up well an pour into test kit then (did he say to freeze) ship off? He also said NOT to take first morning urine but to do around 5pm Sorry my notes are not the best for DrK as I was getting ready to leave to airport. He couldn't upload new power point slides because he didn't know how to from a scan photo ...haa haa Lorina > > Robin, > > You might want to hold down the kit for a few more days before collecting > urine sample. Guest guest
ok, no one drink liquid from the freezers at any of your houses. I can't wait to get the full instructions.
Guest guest
Note to self: stay away from foil wrapped snacks in freezer. I reminds me of when our roommate took out our placenta from the freezer and thought it was a roast. We caught it right away, so he didn't thaw it, and within a week our tree came in, it was on order. We planted a placenta tree for our daughter. Fun times.
