Guest guest
I heard of it. I bought the 1st level. I regressed rapidly. I know the accompanying literature says headaches & such are a sign " I'm resisting " the process. I felt a lot of pain to be honest. I did the minimum, and the way they suggested - and I had to stop. I was plunged into a depression with headache pain. So on the one hand, ouch! and oh no! On the other hand, something really is happening...?! When I spoke to the support staff they gave me a 95% success, 5% side effect story to me. I just literally felt PAIN in my head. I'm psychically sensitive already, and I could literally feel the entrainment of the two hemipheres happening - like playing ping pong with a wall. The wall is the middle area, the bridge between the two - both sides would go " bong " together, and the reverbations never seemed to go anywhere except 'in', more and more deeply 'in'... hence the headache. When I read online support forums, I found a few others who'd had experiences like mine. I think the program works. I think though that my sensitive brain couldn't go to the 30-minutes. I think if I did it over again, I'd taper up very slowly - like 5 minutes daily for a month, then 10 minutes and so on. There is a TON of input in the Holosync program. --- Tonya McHugh wrote: > Hi everyone, > I was meaning to ask if anyone has heard of the Holosync program. > It's supposed to guide the listener's brain to the alpha waves I > think? > Would this work for insomnia or for healing damaged brains? > Thanks, > Tonya > > Alison wrote: > { There are also sleep CD's that are supposed to emit certain sounds > that encourage deep sleep. Guest guest
Thanks ! I think I'll just check out the meditations links provided. No sense manipulating an already sensitive brain. I was just hoping that it could speed up the healing process. I've heard that classical music is beneficial for newborns and infants and thought it was similar to that. Thank you, Tonya wrote: I heard of it. I bought the 1st level. I regressed rapidly. I know theaccompanying literature says headaches & such are a sign "I'mresisting" the process. Guest guest
You're welcome Tonya! I do want to further clear up one thing though. The actual Holosync music is very melodic, good for practicing yoga, relaxing to, etc. (think Yanni in a sense). So everything good you've heard about classical music & such, I'm still down with that. LOL What's the recommendation, 20-minutes a day or something calms the body & mind, & nourishes the senses? I believe this is totally true and works for everybody. Now the Holosync adds another 'layer' in a sense. There's a tone beneath the calming music. It's inaudible. The tone is at a certain frequency - if you don't already know your headset capability, you'd have to go buy a pair that meet the Holosync range. Otherwise, it's just nice music. If not listened to in stereo, usually achieved with a headset - then no effect. If not solely focused on (i.e., no reading or cleaning dishes or anything else) - then little to no effect. In the higher levels of Holosync, an even better (more sensitive to lower frequencies) stereo headset would need to be purchased. For the initial Holosyncs though, my headset cost 20-25$, not bad. It's definitely interesting! I know they'll send out an intro package for free, if you're curious at all. I felt the effects on the intro! Anyway, good luck with the search for soothing & Healing. =) --- Tonya McHugh wrote: > Thanks ! > I think I'll just check out the meditations links provided. > No sense manipulating an already sensitive brain.
