I just read the petition, and for starters, it's incorrect. You don't purchase a "Fast Pass".

I was also just at Disney, and inquired about the pass. We will still be able to board rides with Fast Pass lines with our guest assistance pass. The new policy says now that for using the wheelchair entrance on those rides without fast passes you have to be in a wheelchair or with a mobility issue (which our children have). There are only one or two ADA cars on a ride at any given time, and you'll need to wait for those cars, not just getting the "next" one. The problem is/was that so many parents think this card means "no waiting" and they get upset if they don't get the "next" car. A few bad apples ruin it for us all.

Just a note, this is for Disneyland ( CA) not DisneyWorld (FL). I called Disneyworld and they have not changed their policys for special passes.

After falling for this "plea" and signing the petition - I did what my husband always tells me to do first and got up on the Urban Legend Site - this e-mail/petition are a hoax - Neither Disney has ever turned down disabled individuals for passes. Disney will tell you that the pass is not meant to help you cut the line and get in faster without waiting, but they will not refuse the pass. We use it every time we go and it is wonderful.
