Guest guest
P.S. The sun is still trying to break through the clouds here. It's windy; the wind- chimes sound good.

Guest guest
Judy, With all this foot talk I haven't heard anyone mention my problem. Besides having cold damp feet mine are also very hard around the heels in a horseshoe shape. And they have black line running though them. No, it's not dirt<VBG> I had a dermatologist tell me that it was typical of nerve damage. Soak the feet in combinatoion of skin softener and baby oil and warm water. Then I had to put on this perscription gel which I can't remember the name right now. Then put plastic bags on them and keep them on all night. Of course I don't bother doing this anymore. Just have the ugliest feet in Florida. Felice
Guest guest
Kim, I have gastric reflux so I get heartburn a lot. I take Prilosec everyday for it. I also take Carafate but I think that's for the acid in my stomach. Felice
Guest guest
Kim, Funny you should mention that; I've got a set of cotton sheets that after a year are still rough. I mentioned it to someone else, and found they've had the same experience with some cotton. Tc, Judy

Guest guest
Judy & Kim, Try the Jersey sheets. These are pretty soft. Guest guest
Felice, You're not alone with the reflux. I have it too. I was on Prilosec but due to insurance chanages I'm now on Previcid. Liked the Prilosec better though. Guest guest
, Those are the only kind of sheets I can use anymore. I bought a set of sheets, cotton, and they are so rough I don't understand why but I will never order sheets through that catalog again. Guest guest
Tracey, Thanks for the tip, I'll look for jersey. I usually use flannel, but in the warmer weather they're too warm. Though I have noticed a type that is kind of in between regular cotton and regular flannel, like a lightweight flannel. Judy

At first I thought I broke them. broken quite a few. walls and all. long toes clutzy owner. they never turned normal. Guest guest
Kim, We where supposed to get rain and a few miles away they actually did but I only got a few drops. Not enough to wet the plant hanging off of my deck. Felice
Guest guest
Kim, Isn't it nice to not be alone? I am sooo tired of cold feet. I slammed my toes into the wall the other day. Hard enough to break off part of the toe nail. I waited for the pain to start and it never did! So now I guess I don't have feeling in my toes either. Then the other day a smash my elbow into the corner of some furniture. Got the funny bone real good too. And you know what? It didn't hurt! Not even a big thump! So my body gives me incredible pain in places that shouldn't hurt and when I do hurt it I feel nothing. Go figure. Felice
Guest guest
Felice, the rains back. yesterday was a tease. at least I get to go to chiro today. I'll gladly send it your way. If you have an idoor ring to ride your horse its much nicer to do with rain coming down. kim
Guest guest
Felice, I'm the opposite. I bang my nuckels constantly, when i was a kid a month didn't go by where my thumb was getting locked in the car door. now, as a seasoned child, I bang knuckles and break toes. the purples don't hurt but oh i bang my hands or toes the pain is soooo bad. i also walk yhrough doorways via bouncing off the sides. my dad says be careful pay attention. i say i know dad imagine what i'd be like if i didn't. i'm a Les Nesman!! kim
