Guest guest
Years ago I converted an outdoor closet on our porch to a sauna, with a heating unit that has rocks on top. I'm not able to tolerate it. I get weak, feel kind of faint and my heart races. I've heard that far infrared can be much easier on the body and that it works better. I was going to convert my sauna to FIR, but it's so expensive and I'm not sure I'll tolerate it. I'm getting quotes for around $1200-$1400 for the elements and then I have to pay someone to install them. So I'm thinking of trying something less expensive to start. Has anyone here bought one of those portable FIR saunas that are like little tents with your head sticking out? Are they any good? Does anyone have any suggestions?
