Hi Everyone my name is , I'm from Upstate NY. I had my first encounter

with EN August 2005. I had just returned from NC on vacation. Dr told me it

was an allergy or bug bites. It was a tough 4 weeks then it cleared. One year

later it was back (Always late summer/early Fall) again lasted about one month.

I have had it every year since. I started 2 weeks ago with 2 lesions (not sure

what you refer to them as) and they lasted a week or so and now last night a new

one. No Dr has ever diagnosed me with this. I have seen my Primary, Allergist,

Dematologist, Endocrinologist. Some background info Female, 37 years old,

diagnosed with thyroid cancer Sept 2005 total thyroidectomy, treated with

radioactive iodine, I am on syntroid 125 and my dosage keeps my Hyperthyroid

(Per my dr, cancer patients are kept on a hyer dosage to stop cancer cells).

This starts as something resembling a bug bite, with a few hours it will itch

then get really sore, I will get a large welt like circle, bright pink/purple in

color. It will itch and be painful for over a week, it will dull to a pink from

very light purple to a bruise. The two from 2 weeks ago are very faint and only

leave a small pimple behind. Am I on the right track here??? I've done some

research online and it looks and sounds like EN. I do get relief with ice

packs, and advil.

Thanks everyone!
