Guest guest
In order to cut down on lengthy posts, when you are replying to a post, please remember to delete all of the previous posts with the exception of the point(s) you are referring to. Also, please try to change subject lines; it makes it easier to follow threads. Many thanks, Penny

I don't understand this point.. if I changed your subject line " a comment " to something else, what should I change it to to make it easier for someone else to follow the thread? 'reply to " a comment " ' maybe?? my mailer automatically adds a " Re: " (for " Reference: " )....is that enough of a change? what are the group's guidelines for changing email subject lines? are they recorded somewhere? (maybe they should be included in the " welcome to the mail list letter " or an FAQ) DenverD: husband of Mette (44), UC '73, dx PSC 6/2000 alive in Denmark <www.Texan.dk>

It pertains to when the subject is in response to something totally different than what is on the subject line and to sometimes personal things. When we go back and forth about our cats we can put " Off subject - cats " . When we are talking about colonoscopies, we can put " colonoscopies " When we are making a response to an individual we can put " Patti, or Laurie " etc. There is a lot of personal communication that goes on in this group and this helps those who are more interested in just PSC stuff or technical stuff to skip by the personal stuff. That's kind of the way we've been handling it because the volume gets so great. Peg, wife of Phil(57), UC 30 yrs, dx PSC 12/98, listed 2/2000-status 3, live in So.
