I joined the group to hopefully gain insight on having both Crohn's and Erythema Nodosum and learning about the treatments. Currently my doctor thinks the best step for me is to go on Remicade. I have already been on prednisone 4 times and they really don't want to keep me on steroids, and they are actually losing their effectiveness anyway, because my body has so much inflammation that it is not being absorbed. I have basically exhausted all of my options, as none of the medications they have tried seem to be working. This includes mesalamine, mercaptopurine, and prednisone. My question is .. has anyone had both Crohn's and EN and taken Remicade for the treatment? If so how effective was the treatment? Hopefully someone can give me some insight.
