Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to this group. I might also not belong here because my sensitivity is related to neighbors stereos and electrical. I go ballistic because the sound takes over my spine and I can't think about anything else. I've only met one other person who could hear what I hear. She was running a support group for hypersensitive people. I'm curious if anyone thinks that the sounds you hear are related to how your jaw developed. Many people seem to become afflicted at around age 8 or 9. This is right after most people get their permanent teeth. Im asking this because lately I've been wondering if my problem is connected to the orthodontics I had as a child. I had head gear bands on my back molars from the age of 7 through right before graduating from high school. I've had nonstop problems with those teeth all my life. The dentist says that this is common for people who had orthodontics. Those Back molars are very close to where the cochleus (is that what it's called) is in my head. Ive read that the inner part of that coil is what makes us hear low frequency sound. In my case I think it developed all wrong because my teeth and jaw and lower facial structure were never allowed to develop on their own.
