Guest guest
After I jog, my withdrawal symptoms (the dizziness, etc.) get worse. Does this happen to anyone else? Should I ignore this and consider this to be good for me? Or should I avoid jogging and do some walking instead : This is a common problem for most people who get off these drugs. Seems like really vigorous exercise causes some of the toxins to be released into your bloodstream causing a backlash of withdrawal symptoms. Try walking instead and see if you can tolerate that. Guest guest
Hi glitter , I have been doing some trawling and I'm quite shocked to find that Neurontin has a similar reputation to Seroxat .What can I do please ?I am 17days of Seroxat , but no way dare I do the same with the Neurontin .I am having a very bad day here Yes, Neurontin is just as bad if not worse. How long has you been on the Neurontin? I don't know how one weans off this, or if one needs to. Best to wait til gets back to ask her. I'd hold tight for the time being, but yes, Neurontin will only make you worse, not better. "Blind Reason" a novel of pharmaceutical intrigue Think your antidepressant is safe? Think again. Guest guest
That is a very good question. I have often wondered the same thing. I ride my bike. My personal philosophy is to back off if I feel too bad. By backing off I mean lowering the intensity. Sometimes I can get going pretty good. NOnetheless, it is my feeling some exercise is needed regardless of how you feel. The question is the intensity and I'd be real curious to here from those who know more than I to weigh in on this one. All the best, Casey > > > After I jog, my withdrawal symptoms (the dizziness, etc.) get worse. > Does this happen to anyone else? Should I ignore this and consider > this to be good for me? " *** What dose of Neurontin are you on ? **** How long have you taken this product? All I would like to say at this time is that Neurontin is a very nasty drug .............which in absolutely no shape nor form will in any way help a person get better from nerve damage / peripheral neuropathy. At the same time I don't want to scare anybody reading into stopping this drug overnight (cold turkey) ........the withdrawal from this drug requires great care, over rapid tapering inducing impulsiveness in many persons !!!!!!!! It's way after midnight here ...........I would like to pull some posts out of the archives and answer this message in the morning. With details of supplements etc that have helped many with the various facets of burning, numbness tingling temperature tolerence etc etc associated in neuropathies of the feet & hands caused by such diverse " insults " such as diabetes, low vit B12, prescription drugs including SSRI's, the anti retrovirals and the HIV virus itself. Any GP caught prescribing Neurontin for this indication should be closely questioned about the location of his Parke- / Pfizer sponsored holiday home in the Bahamas. The bastards should be shot at dawn !!!! Guest guest
Neurontin--same thing as other psychotropic drugs. Slow and low. 5- 10% reductions at a time. Wait each time until stable before doing next cut. This is a nasty one. Going off it too quickly will give you seizures. Guest guest
I'm on 1800mgs Neurontin p.d..I started on a very low dose and was put up gradually to the dose I'm on now. There was a chance they'd put it higher ,but seem happy with me now. I've always been told to take it the same time each day ,and not to stop it suddenly or lower the dose.Cyndi . xglitterari@... wrote: Hi glitter , I have been doing some trawling and I'm quite shocked to find that Neurontin has a similar reputation to Seroxat .What can I do please ?I am 17days of Seroxat , but no way dare I do the same with the Neurontin .I am having a very bad day hereYes, Neurontin is just as bad if not worse.
