It's worked for them for decades.--C] Lilly: Unaware of Any Missing Documents Fri Dec 31, 2004 03:44 PM ET LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Drug maker Eli Lilly and Co. on Friday said in response to charges made in the British Medical Journal that it is unaware of any allegations that documents were missing from its clinical drug trials. The article in the journal said an anonymous source had provided " missing documents " related to trials of Prozac that showed a link between the antidepressant and suicidal behavior. The company said " it has always been Lilly's objective to publicly disclose data about both the safety and efficacy of fluoxetine, the drug's generic name. Lilly said it has made several requests to the British journal to obtain copies of the supposed missing documents and is still awaiting a response.
