My son has always showed positive for bacteria in his stool tests.

He also has cycles of regression with his speech that we cannot get

ahold of. A few wks. ago he had the best few days of his life, great

clarity, etc. It all got knocked out of the water and

stuttering/stammering returned when he got sick and was vomiting.

Now, he has a little cold and keeps sniffing and making this noise

like he is itching his throat. Along with this, he was crying loudly

earlier when he couldn't find a specific little toy. We thought we

had gotten ahold of the toy obsession months ago, but I guess not.

I really feel like we are missing the boat with bacteria. I am just

so scared of yeast, because he gets it so easily, despite being on

Ketaconazole on weekends. Normally he only took one probiotic at

night, but we have recently added one in the afternoon as well. I do

still have some Flagyl left and also have OLE. I was wondering if

these cycles and wanting to hold/look for specific toys is

considered OCD.

How about staying on OLE daily? Or just when I feel bacteria is bad?

How many probiotics do people normally give? I am going to cut out

the strep ones after these run out. Just looking for a good bacteria

protocol. OH, and he is also grinding his teeth during the day now

which we never had a problem with. This is almost immediately

following the parasite cleanse we did, so I wonder if those are

coming back too. Help?
