To all those who agreed I needed to get my pain meds back,

I went to doc I have seen for many years yesterday. It was a 200 mile trip but

well worth it! He said it was sad that my daughter had interfered. He started

me back on hydrocodone 750. He only gave me 60 for a month and wants me to have

my local doc call him and he will verify my need for the med.

It helped so much last night which is always my worse time and I thank God for

it.

Thanks for the encouragement to go get it!

Sincerely

Joan

Puretone is in the UK, I am not sure they have anything like this in the US. All

I can find are things to download onto an MP3 player or ear plugs. I have very

small ear canals and would need them custom made, which would be kind of

difficult from here.

attention. Several years ago I also got in-ear generators through the NHS - the

local Primary Care Trust later stopped doing these and only use the behind the

ear ones because of the cost involved - the in-ear ones tend to be more

susceptible to wax and dirt and therefore break down easier. In fact the local

NHS Trust has now stopped using sound generators altogether; they think a move

to digital hearing aids will cover any hearing problems!

Sorry it wasn't any help. The ones they provide are fairly generic, but if you need them to be custom made I don't think that it would be possible! > To: Soundsensitivity > Date: Thu, 12 Aug 2010 21:53:39 +0000> Subject: Re: Success!> > Puretone is in the UK, I am not sure they have anything like this in the US.
