Guest guest Posted January 20, 2005 Report Share Posted January 20, 2005 Finally!!! In Sept. of 2003 was when I finally relented, admitting to myself, that I was not going to get back to work. I filed my paperwork for SSDI. I was denied a few times, got a lawyer, eventually got to the ALJ hearing stage last Thanksgiving. Well in the mail today was a fat envelope from SSDI with a Notice of Decision~ Fully Favorable!!! it was the " failed back syndrome " that got it for me. This is such a huge weight off my shoulders I can't even explain right now! I just hope the backpay check doesn't take too much longer to arrive!
