Guest guest
Hi , I applied in December and along with the forms they required I also sent in copies of all medical records I had pertaining to my diagnosis, all emails to this group and my doctors, as well as a recommendation letter from my employer for SSDI and the function questionnaire that I filled out as well as I had my docs feel out to. I had about 295 pieces of information I send in addition to what they requested. I also called the person assigned to my SSDI case and have given her updates, like when I had my liver biopsy and such. She actually called a few days after the biopsy was scheduled to check and see how things went. I then sent her copies of what results I had. I am not sure if that is a good thing or what, but I am just praying this works out soon as finances are not good as I know everyone on the site has been there, is still there, or is heading there. Anyway, good luck. I hope this helps. Re: Losing job? and update Just a quick note on SSDI and how long it takes. I applied last year in January...did it myself, just made sure I crossed all the t's and dotted the i's...was truthful and thourough...and I was approved in 5 weeks...from start to finish. No lawyers. Don't know if it's changed...or if it's different state to state...but my experience was very good. in TX Visit the Still's Disease Message Board http://disc. <http://disc.server.com/Indices/148599.html> server.com/Indices/148599.html The materials and information contained in this message are not intended to replace the services of a trained health professional or to be a substitute for medical advice of physicians and/or other health care professionals.
