Guest guest
I wish you all a great new year! I'm a 48 year old woman, recently let go from work due to excessive absences, despite doctors' notes, etc. Between being unemployed and in a great deal of pain, I feel pretty crappy and in ned of support. Hence, you folks are now blessed with my presence. :-) This is my first post to this group. I'm in the process of being diagnosed with whatever things are causing terrible pain from my neck down. So far, the MRI and the EMG have been highly abnormal and I still need more testing, meaning that treatment of whatever this constellation of pathology is can't really get underway. I have to go for the second half of my EMG next week. The first half was so painful that I had to stop it. This time, I will pre-medicate and hopefully get through the whole damned thing. It's a very rough time, as I'm sure many of you understand, when family members can't relate and although are concerned, don't know how to handle their own stress and fear without also being a carrier. I feel about as down as I can, I guess, although I suppose there's always more room at the bottom. Anyway, greetings to all and I look forward to getting to know you and learning from you, and, if possible, being of use to you. Be well!
