 I hate to say this but I need to

 You have no options but to go to the classes if you do not you will be seen as

uncooperative and or to disabled to even care for a child. Either one is bad

news. How do I know I did not go to the classes so I lost all rights to my kids

during my divorce is how. I did not even get any set visits only visits as when

were and how my ex said and being she did not want my kids around me at all and

it is why she used both the courts and my Stills against me I am speaking from

fact. Now that only deference is mine was in another state and not Califbut I

also went threw this is a state that is known for being extremely conservative

also.

 also I talked to my wife about this she said the same thing you have to go or

it can and will look bad unless you get a  full out doctors report stating how

long you can stand sit drive act. Now remember even if you have a good day you

do not want to be caught doing more then that either and yes they will check on

you to make sure because if you are being investigated and that means they can

look at every thing no matter how big or small. O ya my wife she has her BSW

(Bachelors in Social work) with her major in CPS and that is also her field of

work she is just unemployed right now so make sure your lawyer is one that deals

with CPS cases period! you do not want a run of the mill one here you need one

that knows CPS law and works with it, the judges and has the experience  to win

as right now being your the investigated the deck is against you . Ya I know you

did not need to hear this but better to know it and get the right help then not

to and think

you have good help.

One last thing it also helps if you know the reason the investigation was

started also and that could be any thing from an ex making a phone call to a

child saying some thing to a mandated reporter.

hugs and my best to you as being ill with stills is hard as it is with out this

extra crud and divorces and already bad but when like mine you get a vindictive

or selfish and self-centered person who only really cares about them self’s

and not even the kids and there out to hurt or destroy you its even harder on us

I know believe me I know! You may also try to see if you can get a change of

Judge because of the prepredajust of your meds and medial condition. you also

need to make sure you lawyer understands your illness and your meds and full

reports from your doctors backing you up and stating from each one who referred

you to what Doctor and why! You also need all as sworn statements notarized from

the doctors stating the illness and reason for the medications and the referral

process to the other doctors. This is to show you did not do the doc shopping

but were in fact fallowing a doctor’s recommendations and orders for your

treatment and health.

You also want the lawyer to know and understand disability so that he or she

can prove that the child being taken to start with was unfounded and that CPS

finding of Drug use or accusations are false. There burden of proof placed on

you is not the same as it would be in a court of law if one was busted by the

cops. But you must have a lawyer that knows family law and how to deal and work

a caser when CPS is the lead against you believes me there lawyer CPS's that is

all they do almost is CPS cases. You’re in a bad spot but not an unwinable

spot but one that will take some work to over come and that is also going to

include you pushing your self. See one thing I will say again if you do not do

as CPS is telling you to do it is almost a sure thing you will lose flat out for

being uncooperative and in the CPS world that is almost as good as an admission

of guilt in a court of law when it comes to CPS cases! again this is from asking

a CPS worker about it

based on what you wrote and yes LA county is not going to be run much deferent

that any other county in the state as they all fall under the same guild lines,

rules and laws.

Subject: Lack of Understanding

 

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure that anyone can help with this, so I suppose this is more of a vent

post....

Because of my divorce, my youngest daughter told the police that I beat her all

the time. This is, of course, not true in any way, but children's services in LA

works on the guilty until proven innocent principle.

The only way I can get my daughter back is to attend two sets of parenting

classes and therapy with my daughter and therapy without my daughter.

No one, not even my attorney, understands that I physically cannot do all of

these things.
