Guest guest
Sorry to hear about your morning. But, if there is one thing I have discovered it is that you never EVER ask that question. Guest guest
Tamara, I learned not to tempt the fates by saying it can't get any worse... Sorry to hear she's still sick. I don't know if this will work for you, but we fold a sheet in half and cover the upper part of the bed where the child is laying with it. Then we put another folded sheet on the floor next to the bed and give the kids a large waste basket to vomit in (if they can tell when it's going to happen.). The sheets can be pulled up quickly if the kid gets sick on it and the rest of the bedding is saved, as is your carpet! If they want to come to the living room, I just cover the loveseat and floor the same way. Hope this might help you!. Guest guest
Actually, I should have clarified whose vomit I was cleaning. This was a day care child's vomit. I suppose the same flu bug we all had. This morning she got here at 8:00, was vomitting by 8:15, and was picked up by 8:30. Then the other two arrived and their mom said they had been sick during the night, vomitting. I told her that they could stay but that I had reached my quota for vomit, so she would have to come get them if they got sick! LOL I actually have had a pretty good day and since it's darn near bedtime I feel pretty safe in saying that. Thanks for the suggestions though. Guest guest
I agree...optomism does usually work. It's just the actual process of getting the good thoughts flowing that's hard some days.
