It's easy:

cut up fresh herb (say, 200 g)

get 95 % alcohol (say, 4 dl)

pour both into a glass jar, close lid tightly, wait for 2-4 weeks, strain,

bottle, label. (This gives you a 1:2 95 %, which is US strength. Dose 5-30

drops 1-3x/day, depending on the herb. Brits usually use way lower alcohol,

and sometimes less concentrating ratios, so doses are usually higher: a 1:3

45 % would possibly need doses in teaspoons.).

Formulas: pour some of 2 or more of the tinctures you made earlier into a

bottle, label.
