Sounds like you are trying to sale something.

Need-A-Doctor-Phoenix/San Diego----minimally affected

June 1, 2004Dearest sisters and brothers:I and others who are minimally affected and legally disabled, would greatly benefit from knowledgeable patient-to-patient feedback from medically and disability savvy users. We need MS specialists, neurologists, and primary physicians who don't think it's all in our head. How our and Vollmer??? Have you read your records, passed a review, etc. How about doctors in San Diego? Some of can't afford to leave something as important as a medical opinion to chance and circumstance.Blessings to those of you who understand looking-too-good. Thank you once again. I also hope this is within the parameters of this chat room.skymountainone@...

I hope that you get the right doctor..If we are paying for it, we should have the best of the best! I am not completely disabled..But By Golly, I have a great team of doctors. My regular doc. Plus, the Best of the Best in the whole state of Kentucky...for my nuerologist and my optic doctor's!! We can't afford to simply settle for just anyone to care for us!! My belief...A good doctor of any type..will talk to you, LISTEN to you, TEACH you and ANSWER all your questions without RUSHING YOU OUT OF THEIR OFFICE!!!!! An even better doctor will get on you about stuff too. Like my neurologist, She is on me constantly about losing weight..I am trying, and I am losing, but NOT ONE VISIT goes by that she doesn't get on me about it. She's Tough on me about it and will not let up until I get to the weight she wants me at..(which I won't get to since I lift weights when I can) I am 5'1" and she wants me at 120lbs. I have NEVER weighed that much EVER!! I have alway be around 150-160lbs. But then steroids, were given to me and I got to 300lbs. I am currently 60lbs lighter, and I can't wait to lose more..But, I will never be at 120lbs, just because I work out with weights, and my legs are PURE muscle..The point is, She cares enough about her patients to get on them about stuff like this!!! That is a GOOD Doctor and we all deserve that!! So I wish you the best in finding who you need to care for you!!

By the way Did you check out the Narcoms.com site??

They will tell you about trials and such. They send you a book (I believe quarterly) letting you know how the research in MS is going.

---Dear Bill: I know I have swiss cheese for a brain. And if you

had read more than just the Subject line in my posting, I believe it

was clear that I was simply searching for a compassionate and

understanding MS specialist in my geographic area. You are right

that my motives are partially selfish, I kinda like excellent

medical care, rather than playing russian roulette with my monthly

income. I hope anyone with MS on disability can understand how

scary changing doctors is. I hope you understand my intent now.
