Before I started on Armour my TSH was 1000> They don't tell you how much over

1000. You are very ill when your TSH is that high. In my case the lyme started

the progression of Hashimoto's. There is a school of thought that there is no

true auto-immune disease but rather a pathogen that your body is trying to

fight. My opinion is that I had lyme hanging out in my thyroid and when my

antibodies tried to kill it they attached the thyroid. I had no thyroid

problems before lyme.

Now after 4 years of being sick my pituitary does not seem to work at all and my

TSH is around .06 and I am not hyper at all.

The only thing I have done different is start taking hormones - Prometrium. I

have now stopped but the hair is still falling out. I have probably lost 1/3

-1/2 of my thickness. I also started, about 3 weeks ago, taking whole lemons

blended in my vitamix - 1 with 2 cups water 2-3x/wk. I previously would just

take lemon juice but someone suggested the whole lemon. I cannot figure out why

this is happening. I have taken Burbur for detox also and was wondering if that

might have an effect. I went online and read that welchol can cause hair loss

but I try to take that as little as possible. The last I took welchol was at

least two weeks ago. A nutritionist told me that people lose their hair when

they do not have enough essential fatty acids so I have started taking fish oil.

I have had this happen in the past, not as much as this time though, and did

take iron supplements for chronic anemia, but at that time I was having heavy

periods. Also my teeth have been hurting quite a bit lately and I cant find a

pattern to why/when they hurt. This is the first time I have ever had teeth

pain. I was taking quite a bit of Mg to sleep but have now started supplementing

with Ca and do take D3 as I am always low. I am also hypothyroid(low normal) and

take naturthroid. I could seriously use some help right now before I lose all my

hair. Has anybody else had this happen?
