Guest guest
Dear Jen, Sorry it took so long to get back....yes, it sounds as if we have alot of the same issues going on. I started writing back to you a few days ago, and my machine went down, so if this is a duplicate i am sorry. The other herbal things and vitamins you talked about sounds so good. If they have made such a big difference in your fibro, i think i will run them by my doc and get approval to take them...omega fatty oil, isnt that just the fish oil pill they use for heart patients? The fiborplex sounds good too, how much is it, i am really on a fixed income, dont have alot to spend...yes, this fibro is killing me, i have new meds now, that do seem to make a difference, better than the mscontin for sure, it is Kadian. As far as the bipolar, that was something that a doc had suggested to me several years ago...have never followed thru with this yet, but, it does make sense seeing the antidepressants are making me very whacked out..i am trying to cram this all in one paragraph cause my machine shuts down when i reply and take up too much space...I tried topomax, and it makes me nuts too. I hated that one...maybe i am just plain nuts...lol...they gave me that for nerve pain. No good for me..I am happy to hear that all these things combined are working so well for you and will write them down and try to see if i can get just a few of them. I thank you for caring from the bottom of my heart...and would love to chat again...i am looking now for a good physical therapist and a schrink....we will see what the next week or so brings...sending only sunshine your way...janine Jen wrote: Janine, Hi! I was reading through the posts, catching up, and I noticed that you have both Fibromyalgia and bipolar disorder. So do I, among other things. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Just so you know, Kadian is morphine. My rheumatologist Rx'd it for me, and within 4 days, I was unable to urinate. I called the pharmacist, and he told me it was morphine. But when I called my Dr. back, he screamed at me that he never gave me morphine! End of that Dr - and he was supposed to be the best for 15 miles around. ----- Original Message ----- From: Janine i have new meds now, that do seem to make a difference, better than the mscontin for sure, it is Kadian. Guest guest
Hi Dixie, Yes, i was told it was morphine by my doc, but, it seems to not make me as ill as the mscontin did and seems to help with the pian more....I was having trouble with urinating alot, having to wear a depends pad, it seems to have stopped some...hopefully, it does not make me stop altogether....thanks for the advice...janine Dixie wrote: Just so you know, Kadian is morphine. Guest guest
What does Morphine have to do with your bladder? I take Methadone and I urinate too much? Sincerely, Alice
