That's awesome! This is why I take systemic enzymes! I take Vitalzym. Has a combination of powerful healing enzymes. Takes away swelling and lumps. Also dealing with adrenal fatigue helps the malaise and fatigue that comes with EN. I take Dr. 's formula: future formulations and my energy is terrific. Thanks for posting your success with enzymes!MLEN 1975Sent via BlackBerry from T-MobileSender: erythema_nodosum_Group Date: Sun, 29 Aug 2010 03:41:27 -0000To: <erythema_nodosum_Group >ReplyTo: erythema_nodosum_Group Subject: Bromelain I started taking Bromelain after developing two large welts, one on my shin and the other on my foot. I have had EM for over 30 years. I have been taking 2400 GDU/g per day for 2 weeks now. It is an enzyme that is found in pineapple. I have been eating pineapple on a regular bases and it has kept the eruputions to a minimum. I did not have any pineapple for a week, and that is when I had the two large welts develop. I had read that Bromelain, as well as pineapples, relieve inflamation, which is why I started eating pineapple on a regular bases. After not having any and developing the welts, I decided to buy the Bromelain, so when I did not have any pineapple, I could take one. I wish I would have bought it sooner. Not only is it cheaper than buying 3 to 4 pineapples a week, it really reduced the size and pain of EM, within a couple of days. I usually have a few small spots spots on both legs with eating the pineapple. With the Bromelain, almost all of them are gone. The swelling in my foot and ankle has reduced dramtically and they are almost back to normal. Beats the steroid shots any day!
