Guest guest
Hello, I really need some guidance. My daughter, who has a diagnosis of global apraxia...is 4 and not fully walking and has severe oral motor delay...babbles, some verbal attempts... came back positive for Babesia. Our Fry labs aren't back yet... I came back positive for Bartonella Hensalae...again, all my labs aren't back yet either. My guess is that our next step is to make an appointment with a LLMD. My question is who?? This is so new to me! We are in NJ. We have always been a family who uses natural remedies, so putting my daughter on antibiotics (she has a very fragile constitution) is a little scary to me. I'd like to know all of my options. I'd also like to see someone who specializes in kids maybe... I am willing to travel to see the best. Gosh, she's had delays since birth, we've been to so many doctors and we'll do anything to help her... I'm not saying all of her delays could be caused by babesia, lymes or other coinfections, but it certainly could be a contributing factor. Please help with any suggestions, Thanks so much. Guest guest
Tara: I had one with symptoms since birth, who is recovered now, so don't let that concern you much. Good news at finding some pathogens to target. Unfortunately, we are all trying to figure out how to rid Babesia and Bartonella still. It appears we are all getting gains, but ridding them all the way is still a work-out. Since Babesia is a protozoa, de-wormers can affect it. Antiobiotics do as well. Coconut oil and garlic are some ideas. For Bartonella, cod liver oil, grapefruit seed extract, and Resveratrol are what we are currently doing. If you go to www.liafoundation.org and click on treatments or presentations, you will find lots of information by doctors on their ideas for such treatments. They appear to be difficult to rid, but symptoms should start decreasing soon after starting treatment. Don't forget to have things for die-off and to mop up toxins to keep die-off reactions low and speed up healing. My current favorites are l-citrulline, modifilan, turmeric, mellatonin, and lithium aspartate. Love and prayers, Heidi N > > Hello, I really need some guidance. Guest guest
Hi Tara, I am glad you had your daughter dx with babesia. I knew last time we spoke that babesia was likely. We are not treating with natural/herb products alone and are using many antibiotics, etc. However, we are extremely pleased with the herbal products for babesia and bartonella we are using and they are made by a dr in NY. Perhaps that might be a starting point for you to consider? I will e-mail privately. Caryn > > Hello, I really need some guidance.
