Guest guest
Someone else mentioned this a while back, but it's still happening for me: I am getting sharp abdominal pains while using my doug coil machine, usually only once I have been coiling for 10+ minutes. The pain, which might feel like a mild internal cramp, usually goes away within a few minutes of stopping coiling. I'm wondering if certain frequencies might affect the electrical activity of, say, the stomach, causing temporary discomfort. I just got sharp stomach pain a few minutes ago from coiling for Babesia. Also, I have the sense that having the coil near my thyroid might affect it negatively. I am prone to thyroid pain if I have too much of things that affect the thyroid, like iodine; and I get mild thyroid pain when I have the coil near my neck. When coiling, I've been doing abdomen 10+minutes, then feet, knees and upper chest/neck region, which seems to get my head too, since I'm sitting at an angle and I do feel changes in my head when coiling there (it's too hard for me to hold the coil on my actual head, and I'm a little disturbed by the idea of putting it directly on my head). To be honest, I am not sure the doug coil is completely without risks or side effects. Antibiotics are pretty awful, so I'm willing to deal with some risk of side effects from the coil machine, but I do feel like I want to minimize how much I have to use it. I've been using it for about 2 hours a day (15-30 mins per infection, 2-3 infections, twice a day) and that might be too much for me. Maybe I want to add more emphasis on immune support, since in the end it's my immune system that needs to take care of me in the long run. I already use Maitake D-fraction and sometimes I take astragalus, which doesn't give me any joint pain now, like it used to before I got my Lyme levels down. Anyone else focusing on immune support much? -
