Guest guest
I too was on Lexapro, they thought I was depressed, because they kept saying I didn't have Lyme by the CDC's standard, Igenex's standards say I do along w/co's. I didn't feel better on it, I actually didn't feel any difference at all, after a few months they had me stop, they wanted me to go on Cymbalata or Lyrica, after reading the side effects and hearing of others problems with it, I opted not to take it. I now know about the Fall flareup, this is the first time I felt it, and it really threw me off for the past week+. It did help for a while, but i think my symptoms were only seasonal then. I would only feel bad for about 5 weeks around Sept, this happened 3 years in a row-- now I know about the fall flare. So I am not sure if it was the medication that helped or just the fall flare running its course. Anyways, I tried lexapro again last year when my symptoms became much worse and I was still undiagnosed, so we thought maybe it would help to take it again. It didnt help :-( so i went off a few months later. I would like to hear from anyone that has used them. Years ago I was on Paxil for IBS and I was quite healthy during the years I was on it. I felt quite good and my immune system seemed to be very strong as I very rarely ever got sick. I am wondering if Lymies see any improvement when taking Paxil or other SSIR drugs such as Prozac, Effexor, Zoloft, and Serzone?
