Guest guest
Hi " Alejitarami " , From my own experience it does hurt more in the AM...but that may be because when you are in bed the swelling does go down some. As soon as you get up--BAMM! the blood rushed down from gravity and the swelling begins and stretches the skin over the inflamed nodes...at least that is my best guess. In addition to leg elevation and cold compresses, I use support stockings to help with the edema or swelling. In fact after 41 yrs of over 100 flare ups I have not had one in over 2 yrs..but I still wear those support stockings--well actually only one on the left leg which is the leg that got EN most of the time. My legs don't match anymore, but I am painfree ;-) I hope you feel better soon. I don't have a lot of lesions, as a matter of fact one on each leg, but the one on my left is huge and is the one causing the most pain and discomfort! I've tried ibuprofen and it helps a little, but I'm still left with a burning sensation; I do ice and elevation everynight, but it oly helps while I have it on. > > Is there something that you guys do to ease the pain and discomfort when you have a breakout? > > Also, is it worse for you in the morning? or is that just me? > > Thanks a lot for all your input! > Stay healthy! >
