Guest guest
....welcome...certainly understand you feelings of utter helplessness (my hubby has them too) and wifes predicament...wish I had an answer - only questions... if your wife applies pressure w/her fingers on the nerve at the base of her head nearest the worse pain does that cause the pain to slightly recede? With me, after scratched heads that simple test caused my doc to diagnose that it was " tender point " pain as a symptom of my fibromyalgia...when it's at it's worse I take amitriptylin for " nerve pain " starting w/30 mg and increasing over an hour to a total of 60-80 mg ....additionally, over the years I have trained myself to not chew on my left side (the side most severely tortured w/this problem) and when it does errupt (praise God not frequently) I get a large scarf and tie a knot in the center and center the know over the nerve and tie it tightly onto my head - pretty silly looking but it does take a bit of the " edge " off. You didn't mention yours and your wifes names - please let us know - I'll add you both to my prayer list --- prayerfully on-going, Kathy in Central CA
Guest guest
She has applied pressure to the inside of her cheek and that did slightly change the pain level. I guess that that was a little like accupressure. Our names are Suzanne and Norman. Any and all prayers would be greatly appreciated. We will also pray for you. -
