You can also get the same essential essential fatty 3/6s in flaxseeds. I ground 2-3 TBsp a day. It is wonderful instead of the fish stuff. Joanne, I appreciate your comments. I am changing my diet quickly as I learn more things. Right now, I am gf/cf/sf. I am feeling better. I also learned that corn may be a trigger for my son due to his autism. We are testing that this week. So we may have to remove that from our diets. Ugh. It is hard enough. But, we are eliminating all sorts of junk. People just look at me like I have gone overboard. They ask me what do I eat? Well, look at it this way: 50 yrs ago the cancer rate was very low. Now it is 2 out of 3. What changed? Our environment chemicals and our food. The things they put in food are dangerous. I know HFCS is like ambrosia to cancer now. I had already been cutting it out. Now, I am really cutting it out. It takes more time to eat better. In the Bible (since you mentioned God) it mentioned that if will follow God's rules in eating (Exodus) then He will not visit the diseases of the Egyptians on you. Something to think about. Most people do not think of the original diet of the Bible. People lived hundreds of years until they began to eat meat. Slowly lives were shortened. Now, tons of chemicals are added to it. Our children are entering puberty earlier due to the growth hormones added to milk cows, etc. I am a vegetarian due to health choices. If I were to eat meat, I would only eat what I could hunt myself or raise organically. And I would follow the health rules of the Bible. God has so blessed me with such a special child.
