Guest guest
Hello everyone. My name is , I'm 28 and live in London...but I'm originally from the U.S. I've been dealing with chronic joint pain for a few years now...having a dislike for doctors I didn't get myself checked out till recently. If you can get use to it....I did...the pain I mean. And when I finally got some anti-inflamatory medication and my pain nearly vanished I was amazed. I had more energy and enthusiasm. I couldn't believe the difference. I could get up stairs without pain and not worry I was going to fall. Then I ran out of meds...and was in complete agony for 5 days. Every joint in my body ached and I couldn't even find a comfortable way to sit. So my doctor finally took me seriously and ran some blood tests. Thankfully my rheumatoid test came back normal, but at the same time she told me that I couldn't take my meds long term. I was taking 150mg of Dicloflex. I cut down to 100mg and I've been taking Ibuprofin w/Codeine...but I'm still in pain. The pain isn't as bad as it was without the meds altogether...but its bad and wears on me. It doesn't help I live on a second floor flat with only stairs and my knees make crunching sounds....ick! I don't talk about my pain at home much. Sorry if I rambled on too much.
