Guest guest Posted September 3, 2010 Report Share Posted September 3, 2010 Hello my lovely Fibro Family, So I want us to get back to things that help us, and thought that I would write down a few reminders for us all, if you would like to add to the list, please feel free to do so! And I hope that you all are having a lovely day. 1) Drink good clean water and lots of it 2) Eat a low carb, moderate protein clean diet that is high in fat. Good fats like Coconut Oil, Animal fats, Lard, and real Butter.... 3) Get proper sleep, its the hours before Midnight that do the most healing to your body 4) Daily Stretching and some moderate walking each day will help your body heal and loosing up the tight muscles. 5) Consume good sea salt or Himalaying salt. Its best to put on foods after they are cooked to get the 84 minerals out of them or you could even add about a quarter teaspoon to a gallon of water, and drink that gallon of water a day. Soo good for you. 6) Dry skin brushing, specially before a bath. Take one of those long handled wooden brushes with bristles that are not too sharp for the skin, but not too soft either, and take about three to five minutes going over the entire body towards the heart, and use little strokes slowly working up towards the heart. Do not do the face! This will open up the pores on your skin for when you get into that hot bath. 7) Take an Epsom Salt bath after the skin brushing. You could add some sea salt or himalaying salt to the bath too. Soak in the bath for at least twenty minutes. If you can take a hot bath, even better because sweating equals getting out toxins from the body. For those that don't have a bath. A good foot soak works wonders too. 8) Stay away from sugar, or sweetners. Only use Stevia! 9) Stay away from diet anything, because diet sodas, and just about diet anything contains ASPARTAME, and Aspartame causes cancer. 10) Start reading the ingredients on all products that you purchase for consuming. You do not want High Fructose Corn Syrup, or Aspartame or Monosodium Glutamate. Infact try to stay out of the inner isles of your grocers if at all possible. 11) Eat Good Clean Organic Foods 12) Stay away from Starches, like potatoes, sweet potatoes etc 13) Learn to use good organic herbs and spices to enhance your foods, and stop using processed seasoning packets. 14) The only dairy that is advised to use is Butter 15) Take your daily supplements like Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, B complex, Niacin, Magnesium, Zinc and don't forget your Coconut oil. 16) If juicing, think about what your juicing. Juicing green leafy vegetables is great for the body, because Chlorophyll will help heal the body. However if juicing fruit, limit how much fruit you are using. How many people do you know that eat like five apples in one go? No one..... !!! That would be way too much fructose WHICH IS SUGAR! 17) Do not use regular table salt. Its not good for you, Instead use Sea salt or Himalaying Salt 18) Think about what oils you are using to cook with. Cooking with Extra Virgin Olive oil is not good, because high heat can turn it not only rancid but also turn it into a carcinogenic. Use it on foods that have already been cooked or for making home made Salad dressings. 19) Breathing techniques can be very healing just like the one that Dr Mercola suggests, which is breathing in the nose for 4 seconds, hold for seven seconds, and exspell through the mouth for eight seconds. Do this four to five times and then breath normal again. 20) Keep an eye on your posture, Slumping and Slouching is not good for your spine or body. 21) Spiritual Healing is highly recommended 22) Go on www.healingnaturallybybee.com and read, read, read, and learn how this wonderful lady is helping millions around the globe with her healing techniques. 23) Stay in touch with all of us on this board, it really does help communicating with others that share your every single day challenges and difficulties. 24) Try to cut out on Caffeine Drinks like Coffee, Black tea and start introducing Herbal Teas that are good for you like Pau D'Arco, Nettle, Dandelion and so many others. A very wonderful site for Good Organic Herbs is www.mountainroseherbs.com 25) Try to keep your body on a regular schedule with sleeping, eating, etc. Your body will appreciate it. 26) Try to eat during the day light hours. Eating late will cause sleep irregularities and your body will be concetrating on digesting your food instead of healing your body. 27) Try to get ahold of McKenna cds, Joanne swears by them. I want a set of them too! 28) Try to get rid of the stress from your life and learn ways to destress 29) Stop feeling guilty because you are sick, this is NOT your fault! Emotional stress will only damage you more! So try to learn how to let go of past hurts, and anger. JUST LET IT GO 30) Get outside and breathe in Gods oxygen. Open the window in your house and start breathing in that fresh air. The Stale air in the house is not good for you. 31) Get on www.youtube.com and find Dr Mercola, he has some wonderful recommendations for good health 32) 33) 34) 35) 36) 37) 38) 39) 40) Please feel free to add to this list. This list is just some friendly reminders that we have choices in our lives that we can make for the better, and for the new members on our board hopefully they will learn some new techniques that might help them better their lives in some way.
