Guest guest
Well, not a stellar showing at the competition on Saturday. I was the only one in geezerwomen (over 60) so swept the Grandmaster division. LOL There were 4 of us in open heavyweight women, I was 4th. Didn’t deserve any better than that. Spousal Unit was 2nd in geezermen (over 60). Only 2 in the class, they were pretty closely matched; I thought he had a good chance. There were 8 in the open lightweight men and he didn’t get called back. He didn’t expect to, so wasn’t disappointed. I was not real happy the way my color went on this time...........did a bit of reading on the Jan Tana website and decided to get an airbrush outfit to spray on the stuff. Have some greenhouse money around, we usually use it for special things like this. Hoping to have it early next week so we can do a practice “spray†before the show on the 30th. Back to my twigs, berries, and camel fodder. I had grandson’s birthday cake on Sunday. I don’t think it hurt me much. LOL Didn’t get my cardiohike in today; rain all day and I was NOT going walking in that mess. Perhaps tomorrow will be better........I hope so, I don’t want to have to resort to the elliptical. Guest guest
I think the photographer will eventually have some shots on his website that he took that night. I haven’t checked yet. The show we do on the 7th of May will have a videographer there and he puts the routines online on his website (for $$, of course........LOL) Z From: MARTA PHILLIPS Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2011 8:31 PM To: bodyforlife Subject: Re: show Hello , You are funny, and inspirational at the same time. Guest guest
Now do they really call it geezerwomen and geezermen? Either way, it is funny. At least you showed up and are working at it! Enjoy the twigs! Andy > > Well, not a stellar showing at the competition on Saturday. I was the only one in geezerwomen (over 60) so swept the Grandmaster division. Guest guest
, it’s airbrushing help we need now. LOL Had a little of the b-day cake, but I have NOT skipped the cardiohikes.......4 miles a day........2 in the morning and 2 in the late afternoon or early evening. Come and join me..........I take a nice path either through our acreage or down the road and can hear the birds. Mornings are especially nice for birdsongs. anna Z From: gholowko@... Sent: Monday, April 25, 2011 9:31 AM To: bodyforlife Subject: Re: show , , , ... Ya see??? THAT's how it all started with me, too! First, it's having the grandson's birthday cake, then it's sipping the cardio because of bad weather, then... BOOM!!! Suddenly 90 pounds of fat will suddenly find it's way to your body. Then, if things don't soon improve, you'll find yourself a washed up motivational speaker living in a van, down by the river! In the meantime, I am hurting big-time from doing something STUPID with my neck and shoulder last week (what, I really do not know). With a few Advil at a time, I can almost turn my head to the right, now, so, I suppose I am healing just fine. Enjoy your twigs. I've recently discovered cinnamon bark, myself. Oh... And, did I hear you say you needed help with the tanning lotion??? Happy tree eating,
