How do you know they were Lyme spirochetes? There are other organisms that can be viewed in dark field microscopy in blood samples, that are similar, as I understand it. But, if you trust that your practitioner is well versed and knows exactly what he's looking at, then by all means, it's up to you to determine if the test results are valid.

Even if you are unsure of the dark field microscope test, that's no reason to doubt that you and your family are infected with Lyme and co's. As I am also infected, I understand some of what you are going through, though I don't have an entire family who is also sick. I am so sorry. I hope you get beyond the diagnostic stage and find effective alternative treatments for yourself and your family. There are many members of this group who regularly offer their personal experience and ideas. I am using the coil machine, and I can tell you - it works. It is a long process, though.

Again, I have my doubts about the efficacy of viewing living spirochetes via dark field microscopy. I base my opinion on the likelihood of spirochetes showing up in a blood sample in advanced Lyme. And I have been folllowing reports on blood samples viewed with a dark field microscope, on another group. Unlike some, I personally trust Jim Meissner's reports regarding what he has seen in blood samples of Lyme patients via his expensive dark field microsocpe. That statement may be akin to blasphemy on this list - howvever - I stand by it. Firmly.

Jim Meissner has looked at the blood samples from well over a hundred Lyme patients, some of whom have been positively diagnosed by standard, recognized lab procedures, and he has never seen a single Lyme spirochete in any of them. Needless to say, all of the patients were very ill. He has seen all the coinfection organisms in blood samples, which at various stages of disease, are visible in the blood. Perhaps he just did not get "lucky". But somehow, I don't think that's the case here. He has seen spirochete-like organisms. According to Jim Meissner, they were not Lyme spirochetes. I believe he has taken steps to give an accurate account of what he has seen. Otherwise, he might be claiming to see Lyme spirochetes all the time. He has yet to see even one!

when we had this test done we seen a few spirocetes on the screen of the ones that had less lyme symptoms but the ones that had more symptoms had more spiros on screen of d f m we dont consider this 110%proof of lymes butit may be avery good indicator sort of confirm s the treatment / direction were going will proably yield good results it also may help with friends /relatives ignorance also this man had many plaques hanging on his walls of certifications in darkfieldmicroscopy and is a teacher of d f m with certifications when you think of how small of a sample 1 drop is im glad we didnt seegobs of them also we didnot see spiros in all of us 5 out of 9 of us had .. we did not take our sickest daughter by now it is surly in syst in all of us in tissues etc in most of us more work ahead paul

Does Jim M have any formal medical training to view the blood of individuals?

Does he have any kind of license to practice medicine?

I thought when posted this on his group (below), he made it very clear the

answer to both questions above

was no...

Thus you are referencing the work of someone who has no formal medical training

and no license to practice medicine and I believe you already know this...

I don't feel your reference about Jim M' analysis of reading the blood of others

is fair to

as you are referencing an untrained and unlicensed person doing these analysis

and making a medical determination.

And as did in the past, I too and going to ask for any further references

to Jim M's blood

analsys to stop on our group as of now..
