Thank you Limin for your gorgeous response! :)

Today I put two teaspoons of Flora Vital into about 8 or more capsules and I

said to my son....you can take it this way " or " you can just get it down with a

water chaser and get it over with. I told him we could use our minds to rise

above the idea of the smell and taste and he did it! No ill effects! yay. yay.

yay.

I then remembered...what is the herb which is known as the most iron dense

plants on the planet....I couldn't remember the name so I googled the above and

up comes Yellow Dock and I thought that's it! That's the one. In reading about

Yellow Dock again, it could help so many of us. It is however high in oxalates,

as are many herbs, so a caution there. Good blood cleanser, good for

constipation to keep things moving smoothly. I am wondering about the age limit

on this herb as most of the sites say not before age 6 but they all say

something like that.

Snippet from blueboyherbs.com

" Yellow dock is famous because of its ability to increase the amount of iron

that is accessible to the blood system. It is also noted because of its ability

to purify the blood. In Eclectic medicine it was much used in this way in many

skin disorders. It is an excellent agent to cleanse the lymphatic system.

Therefore the main uses are when the body is run down and has lost its ability

to properly remove toxins.

In anemia yellow dock is one of the most important herbs in the entire materia

medica. I have combined it with Polymnia Uvedalia (Bearsfoot), and Poke root.

This unique combination would be very fruitful for all those who are in need of

a combination to build blood. I have seen the clinical results in cases of

chemotherapy and radiation in cancer treatment. Of course these practices kill

blood cells and anemia is the immediate side effect. In cases where people have

taken this combination the blood count is up the next day. "

Any experience with this herb?
