I feel as if I'm in the depths of hormone H---- right now and could use some insight. A bit of history: ASI with Diagnostecs last Oct. showed Level 7 adrenal fatigue. I don't have it in front of me, but I believe I had an 11 for 1st cortisol reading and levels below 1 for the rest of the day. DHEA was 2. Doctor put me back on Xymogen DHEA cream 15 mg.

Also, I have been on cortef and Isocort for adrenal deficiency, but quickly developed pounding and very high bp. This was at approx. 10 mg. increased over a few weeks. That's why the doctor went with DHEA.

Doctor upped my Prometrium from 100 mg. to 200 mg. I was already using Vivelle Dot of .25.

By Dec. I was so fatigued I ended up taking 1-2 hr. naps and was sleeping well at night. A month later, I felt less fatigued, but started having hot flashes and night sweats.

I recently had (blood) testing done again.

Testosterone levels are high (didn't get numbers)

DHEA, high normal 126 (15-170)---doctor said continue w/cream, but I suggested going to once a week.

Progesterone 8.2 (3.3-26)--doctor wants to get me to 10 and up Prometrium to 400 mg.

Estrogen 71 (I didn't get range but doctor said she wants around 100 and upped patch to .1) I saw show with hormone doc who suggested levels of 200.

I've got horrible heart pounding and irregularity, can't sleep, but am exhausted, jittery and tense...and as was pointed out to me today, am getting facial hair! Even with the increase of E, I'm having hot flashes and night sweats, but also breast swelling and tenderness. Looking at symptoms I've got symptoms of excess and deficiency of all hormones. It seems obvious that the DHEA has converted to T. Am I reducing too drastically to go to once a week? I'm also reluctant to go to 400 mg. Prometrium.

It's strange, also, that I felt better back in Oct. with flat-lined hormones that what I do now. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated and I'm sending *Thank you* in advance :). I'm quickly becoming an exhausted, frenzied, hairy woman (or some other creature!).
