Well, I messed around with the airbrush this afternoon..........told Spousal

Unit to stand in the shower stall...........I realized that we are not going to

be able to do a decent airbrush job in there...........too small. And the key

to a good, even tan is NOT stopping and going back and forth. One long

brushstroke up or down. I don’t think Matt Kenseth is going to hire me to

paint his cars............*sigh*..........But, it will be fine. Good thing the

show on Sat. is a small one and won’t make tons of difference. A practice

show, if you will. LOL

,

With your descriptions, I can't help but think of either racing stripes, or, the

cat character in the cartoon " Pepe Le Pew " .

You and your husband's bodies are amazing physiques. Is the deep, rich, dark

tan really an added requirement to compete in the shows? Does it help define

your bodies? It sure seems like a lot of extra effort (and expense) for the

shows.

Progress, not painting...

I remember back in the day when we took our BFL after pictures, we were trying

all kinds of tanners to figure out which one is the best. I think they have

greatly improved since that time. I do like the Jantana posing oil. I just

like the feel and the smell of it for some strange reason. These things do help

see definition in the bright lights. I think the best pictures we took were in

natural light but you don't have that option unless it is an outdoor show which

I doubt ever happens and they would still have stage lights.

> If you don’t have any color on you look sick and anemic under the stage

lights. Most shows will demerit you if you don’t have stage color on. It’s

amazing what a good tan AND some oil will add to your physique under the lights.

And some get carried away on the oil..........you should have a “sheenâ€, not

a “shineâ€. too much oil will counteract the good the tan has. Hope I

explained that so it was easily understandable.
